THE BEAUTY OF THE EARLY DAYS
Your newborn session happens right at home — no packing, planning, or rushing out the door. I’ll come to you, so you can stay cozy at home, following your baby’s rhythm. You can sip your coffee, take it slow, and be present in this fleeting season while I photograph it all.
Reach out and tell me a little about your new baby and your family . We’ll find a session that feels right for you and this special moment in your family's life.
A few weeks later, you’ll receive your full gallery — hand-edited, story-driven images that bring you right back to the day. From there, you can download, share, and order prints or albums if you’d like.
This is where it all unfolds naturally. You simply spend time together; I’ll take care of everything else. The goal isn’t to perform — it’s to be present.
Once your session is booked, I’ll help with the details — timing, what to expect, and how to prepare without overthinking it. No need for matching outfits — just come as you are.
A calm, easy experience for parents and their babies

There isn’t a single “right” window. Some families book in the first couple of weeks, others wait until they’ve had a little more time to settle in. This approach works across a range of timing, so we’ll choose a date that fits your reality. Whether your baby is brand new or a few months old, the goal is to document your family as you are right now—not to hit a specific stage.
How do we choose the right timing for a newborn session?

There’s no heavy posing or setup, but I’m not completely hands-off either. I’ll spend time with your family and photograph what’s already happening—feeding, holding your baby, older siblings coming and going, etc. I will also offer simple direction —like suggesting we move to a window, place the baby on the bed for a few solo shots, or have everyone gather together. Nothing complicated, and nothing you have to “get right.” The goal is to keep things feeling natural while still giving you a few more composed images if you want them.
What does a session actually look like, and will you guide us?

Doing absolutely nothing to prepare is one great option. If you want to do more than that, you are certainly welcome to choose a special outfit, or tidy the house, but there is no expectation that you will have prepped in any way. Whatever will help you feel the most at ease is what I recommend when it comes to prep. I’m not looking for a styled space, just a few areas with good light. If you want to open curtains or feed the baby beforehand, you can, but there’s no need to clean or stage anything beyond what feels manageable.
What should we wear, and what if our home feels messy?
I can't wait to hear from you!
