I'm a documentary photographer serving families across the Hudson Valley, and my work is rooted in that difference. I am always looking for the beauty between the poses; a photo of people lined up and smiling will never feel as alive to me as the in-between moments.

What is documentary family photography?
Most sessions happen at home or somewhere that already feels like part of your everyday life: a backyard, a favorite trail, a spot your family returns to again and again. I work with families across the Hudson Valley, including Rhinebeck, Kingston, Woodstock, Hudson, Catskill, Millbrook, New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, and the surrounding area. If you have a place in mind, I'm happy to make it work. And if you want something more scenic, like golden hour in a field or a spot with some open sky, I have suggestions for that too.
